![]() "Close windows when quitting an app" has been tested both checked and unchecked. "Group windows by application" has been tested both checked and unchecked. "Displays have separate Spaces" is unchecked (I can't work across multiple monitors with separate spaces, making dual displays pointless). Lightwave 3D (no matter what settings I use, every single window is repositioned to the same location on the first monitor)Īpple Calendar (opens on the second monitor without issue)Īdobe CC apps (of note, Adobe refuses to use Apple's window system, instead building their own) Slack (the loading screen will show up on the far side of the last monitor used, but the app itself ALWAYS opens centred on the first display) It's infuriating, and it happens in both MacOS 10.12 and 10.13. When I close an app and re-open it, the windows are all rearranged to the first monitor, meaning I have to re-setup my workspace every single time I open the app. ![]() I use two monitors both at home (an iMac 5k 2015 with an iMac 2011 in target display mode, both 27") and at work (matched 24" Dell monitors connected to a 2013 Mac Pro).
